Modern Stamping....

We had a family trip on the weekend to The Hirshhorn Museum in DC....We were so totally besotted  by the gorgeous Modern Art that Ruby and I decided to use it as inspiration for a potato stamping  belt project!.
We managed to find a potato on the bottom  of the fridge (not quite rotten !) and gathered up our other supplies
*butter knife
*fabric paint (neon of course...)
*belt buckle
*cotton woven belting
*paint brushes
We used our butter knife to carve out the shape of a triangle from the potatoes, then a generous brush of paint on each one, press down firmly on the cotton belting and voila!!!
We let ours dry overnight...Ruby couldn't wait to wear it to school!
