Ruby and I had such a blast at the Mer Mag Gapkids event in Georgetown!
Not only had Gapkids cleared an entire section of the store for crafting, they also had a group of super crafty folks working with all of the budding artists. I particularly love how Merrilee Liddiard designed a project that was perfect for all age groups...awesome!

Take a look at Merrilee's blog for more details of the Geometric art event!

I wish we were going to be in town for the next two Gapkids crafting events over the next couple of weeks!

This Saturday August 18 10-1pm   Kids will be crafting their own journals
Washington D.C.: 7101 Democracy Blvd @Montgomery Mall

Next Saturday August 25 10-1pm  Kids will be making fun animal badges.
Washington D.C.: 1100 S. Hayes St. @ Pentagon City Mall

Don't you wish you were a kid again!
