So, living this close to Washington DC, I love any excuse to pop into the city and see what cool things are on offer! Lucky for me (and Ruby) GapKids in Georgetown is hosting an amazing crafting event for kids tomorrow between 10am and 1 pm.
What is even better is that children will be able to unleash their inner artist with special art projects designed by the super dooper talented Merrilee Liddiard from Mer Mag. Not only is she a super cool gal (and a friend) she also drew my bike logo..Yay Merrilee!

Merrilee designed all of the art projects using inspiration from the Fall Gapkids and Babygap collection.
Seriously, have you seen the the new 1969 denim jewel box skinnies for girls..delish!
We are also loving the new Action stretch denim jeans for boys, so cute!

What creative kid doesn't like working with paint? Merrilee's art projects will include the use of paint, tape and canvases to create awesome geometric artworks. How about making a custom journal just in time for back to school. Ruby and I will be first in line at the Gapkids Georgetown store...swing by and craft with us if you are around!

If you happen to live in another state, don't fret! This month, select Gapkids stores across the country will be hosting Shine on Saturday events

Miss this Crafty Workshop.....there are 2 more in the DC area over the next 2 weeks...Yay!
